Being logged into Google My Business is a must if you want to have an online presence. At least 88% of consumers enter Google looking for local information BEFORE leaving home to search between stores. That's why we'll teach you some simple but effective tricks that will change your experience with this powerful tool to make your business known.

Make them find you (and want to come to you)

When you're in Google My Business, your store location is marked on the search engine map. This is great in case a potential customer needs to know where you are to go directly without wasting lunchtime.

But let's take this to another level.

By using post in Google My Business, you can leave messages to consumers nearby. Make your post a marketing strategy. For example, if you have a coffee shop, you can warn that there are freshly baked cupcakes, invite those who leave the office to have a smoothie, advertise events, among others.

Post by accessing the local Google My Business profile and then the corresponding menu. From there you can create, edit or delete your post.

Make your customers see what's in the store

Have you ever noticed that sometimes a shop profile appears on the right side of the search results? That little window called the knowledge panel shows relevant information such as opening hours, address, telephone number or photos.

If you add to this

Pointy's "See What's In Store" service, you will be able to offer all the relevant information of your business and convince your target that you are the solution to their dilemmas.

This tool allows you to place a slideshow with a brief summary of the products currently in your inventory. You can include the name, price and a photo. Isn't that practical?

To activate it, you must register at Pointy and search in your profile the new "Link To Google" tab.

Make your math to improve your traffic

Google My Business allows you to see who visits your profile, what kind of searches your audience does and their actions (like how many have seen your photos, how many times they have asked for your address, how many have called your local phone).

To do this, you must access the statistics from your account menu (warning: your business must be verified).

It's unusual how few make use of their stats. Seriously. We support our customers to take a look at their stats because an inadequate profile (wrong phone numbers or address, post with poor interactions) can hurt a branding and lower sales.

Google My Business is the ultimate in optimizing your Local SEO. Taking full advantage of the service will always yield positive results. Have you tried it before? Tell us about your experience!
